The function of the ball mill liner is to protect the cylindrical shell and the material inside it from being impacted and worn by the grinding media (such as steel balls) and the raw material being ground.
The liner also helps to enhance the grinding performance of the ball mill by increasing the surface area of the grinding media and improving the lifting effect of the balls, which helps to promote the grinding process.
